S&J, B&P Kent & Bucks The Byre Jun 2009 Really enjoyed the week. The weather was good, the accommodation was excellent and it was a place of peace and quiet to enjoy nature and to see red squirrels, so sadly missing from our home counties. Finally we learnt how to pronounce Ravenstonedale - never would have thought it sounded like that!
L&D Oxford The Haystore Jun 2009 Generous hosts, luxurious accommodation and idyllic setting all combined for a wonderful holiday. Didn't see a red squirrel, but a spotted woodpecker in the tree outside and hares down the road.

Although your website conveys faithfully the quality of the interiors, it is not until you spend some time at the Green that you can appreciate what a lovely little oasis it is set in. Hats off t'yer. I still fail to think of any possible improvements, but it is definitely worth coming back to check again!

With the excellent views, thoughtful landscaping and entertaining wildlife we have enjoyed lazy mornings and relaxing evenings making the most of the surroundings and lovely weather.
